Katherine O’Flaherty is a PhD Candidate at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne, and a Research Officer in the Malaria and Infectious Disease Epidemiology Group at Burnet Institute. Her research combines laboratory and statistical methodology to investigate the role of host immunity in the epidemiology of sub-clinical and drug resistant malaria in Greater Mekong Sub-region, with a particular focus on Myanmar.

Paul Komesaroff is a Professor of Medicine at Monash University, Executive Director of  Global Reconciliation, President of Adult Medicine in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a board member of the Australia Myanmar Institute.

 A question and answer session will be conducted after the talk.
