Australia Myanmar Institute (AMI) has launched an appeal to raise funds to support the family of U Nay Win, the taxi driver who sacrificed his life on 29 January at Yangon Airport to ensure that the man who shot prominent Muslim lawyer U Ko Ni. Donations can be made through the link with this message. They will be delivered to the families through U Nay Oke in Yangon who has raised a considerable amount of money in Myanmar and created bank savings certificates in the names of his four young children, managed by a law firm until they mature in 12 years.
